Sharmila joined SDCL London team in June 2020 as an analyst. She is mainly focused on investment and portfolio management of SEEIT.

Prior to joining SDCL, Sharmila was an analyst in the Investment Banking division of Société Générale CIB in London, advising clients on M&A and project finance transactions across the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure space. She also has previous banking experiences from BNP Paribas in Paris where she started her career.

Sharmila holds a MSc in Corporate Finance and Banking from EDHEC Business School and a BA(Hons) in Economics and Finance from University of Nottingham. She is also currently studying towards the CFA charter.
