Niki joined SDCL in August 2026 and brings over 10 years of governance, risk and compliance experience across the financial services sector.

Prior to joining SDCL, Niki was Head of Risk and Compliance at Baillie Gifford Investment Management (Europe) Limited. Before this, she spent over seven years with BlackRock, where she initially held company secretarial roles supporting the boards of BlackRock’s UK, Swiss and French fund management companies before moving to a compliance advisory role supporting BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited.

Niki holds an LLB (Hons) in English Law with Spanish from the University of Dundee, an MSc in Management and Corporate Governance from Ulster University, and an MSc in Compliance from University College Dublin in conjunction with the Institute of Bankers. She is a Fellow of the Compliance Institute and an Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute.
